The problems we're hired to end

If any of these sound familiar, the system - not your team - is the problem.

Building systems integrator and operations team aligning security workflows with daily routines
Access, security, and daily operations coordinated around your team.
  • P-01Downtime nobody can explainA door, camera, or panel fails and the outage lasts days because nobody knows how the system was built.
  • P-02Tenant and staff access frictionFobs that don't work, buzzer complaints, move-in/move-out chaos, and contractors waiting at locked doors.
  • P-03False alarms and alarm fatigueRepeat false trips that cost fines, erode trust, and train everyone to ignore the one alarm that matters.
  • P-04Fragmented vendorsOne company owns the cameras, another the doors, a third the network, and every issue becomes a blame triangle.
  • P-05Aging systems and budget surprisesParts are discontinued, software is unsupported, and emergency replacements arrive before a lifecycle plan does.
  • P-06Gaps in proof and responseMissing documentation, blind spots, and slow service leave audits and incidents without clear answers.

How an engagement runs

A documented process, because the handoff is the product.

Every step produces a record your team keeps: assessments, drawings, schedules, commissioning results, and as-builts.

Site assessment

We walk the property, document existing systems and risks, and listen to how your team actually operates.

Design & specification

System design mapped to your building, budget, and standards, with drawings and device schedules rather than guesses.

Transparent pricing

Scope, options, and exclusions in writing. You know what you're buying and what you're deferring.

Coordination

Scheduling around tenants, trades, and operations. Submittals and site coordination for construction projects.

Installation

Clean, labelled, code-conscious installation by technicians who expect the next person to inspect their work.

Commissioning

Every device tested, every scenario verified, results recorded. Nothing is "done" until it's proven.

Documentation & handoff

As-builts, credentials, asset records, and training handed to your team: the package most integrators never deliver.

Maintenance & support

Planned maintenance, inspections, remote support, and lifecycle planning so the system stays serviceable for years.

Installation is a short-term objective. The relationship is our long-term commitment.

Most security problems aren't installation problems. They're maintenance problems that show up two, five, or ten years later. REM structures support so the systems in your building stay documented, inspected, and budgetable.

  • Planned maintenance and scheduled inspections
  • Asset records and device-location documentation
  • Service reporting after every visit: what was found, what was done
  • Remote support and diagnostics before a truck rolls
  • Response paths matched to how critical each system is
  • Lifecycle planning and budget forecasting for replacements

A clear contact, practical advice, and documented follow-through keep your team informed from the first service request to resolution.

Give your building a modern operations layer.

Remote access management

Grant, revoke, and audit access from anywhere. No more driving across town to let a contractor in.

Leak & environmental detection

Catch water where it starts. Sensors in mechanical rooms and suites that alert before the insurance claim.

Centralized thermostats

Common-area comfort and energy control from one dashboard instead of a ladder and a screwdriver.

Parcel & amenity control

Parcel lockers, amenity booking, and gym/party-room access that manage themselves.

System health & alerts

Surface device failures and abnormal conditions early, so your team can act before they become disruptions.

PM software integration

Dashboards and integrations with your property-management platform, so building data lives where your team already works.

Clear records. Confident operations.

The REM handoff standard

Every project should leave the building easier to operate.

Assess

Existing systems, risks, operating needs, and constraints documented before design.

Coordinate

Scope, drawings, device schedules, and interfaces aligned before installation.

Commission

Devices and operating scenarios tested, verified, and recorded at handoff.

Support

As-builts, asset records, training, and a clear service path kept with the building.

Platform discipline

Fit before brand.

Every existing or proposed platform is assessed for supportability before scope is accepted.

Procurement ready

Documents on request.

Verification material is supplied for procurement files and vendor onboarding.

Long-term support

A clear service path.

Maintenance planning and documented service help your team manage systems throughout their working life.

Questions before your first site visit.

Can you take over a system another company installed?

Usually, yes. We start with an assessment to document what exists, what's proprietary, and what's salvageable. You get a written picture of the system before deciding anything - including whether takeover is even worth it.

Do you work with condo boards and property managers on budget cycles?

Yes. We provide phased options, lifecycle forecasts, and documentation designed to be tabled at board meetings, so decisions can happen inside your reserve-fund and budget process rather than around it.

What happens when something fails at 2 a.m.?

Call the emergency line at (403) 803-6302. Requests are logged and triaged immediately, and critical failures are escalated to an on-call technician with a clear confirmation and next step.

Can you review drawings or specs for a project in design?

Yes, and earlier is cheaper. Arrange a review through the drawing review request and we'll flag conflicts, gaps, and serviceability issues before they're poured into concrete.
